Live Event Partners rolls into DC with the Band Train

One of our favorite cities in the world to produce an event is in our nation’s capital, Washington DC. Last fall we were engaged by one of our long term clients to produce a show at the exquisite Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the heart of DC. Colin Powell, one of the most notable figures in the United States military and former Secretary of State, was selected as the keynote speaker to address the select group of attendees. In his keynote speech, his humility taught us all that regardless of status, family should remain at the core of your foundation. After his dynamic keynote speech, the group took a short break to network. Upon their return to the ballroom, they were greeted with the culinary delights of the hotel’s premiere cooking team. As they settled in, the company’s CEO announced the evening’s live entertainment. The crowd went wild as the band TRAIN took the stage. The electrifying performance of Pat Monahan’s a cappella version of When I Look to the Sky won over fans old and new.

Talk Show Themed Quarterly Meeting

Our bio-tech client once again tapped our event production services to bring some fun to their quarterly employee meeting for both the live audience and a remote audience. The live event was webcast throughout the world. This time, we staged a talk show complete with musical sidekick to deliver the 60 min of information in a very entertaining way. The client was so impressed that they have chosen to stick with this format for the next 3 quarterly meetings--webcast and all.

Live Event Partners and Whitelight Multimedia Produce Retail Sales Show

For the 3rd year in a row, Live Event Partners worked with Whitelight Multimedia on a retail sales show in Orange County, California. The group allowed us to do some unconventional seating and lighting for the awards event. The meeting concluded in a tent party on the front lawn…a beautiful event.

Live Event Partners Produces Marketing Videos to Enhance a New Product Launch

We recently produced 2 videos that were designed to create buzz around a new product launch. For the first spot, the client wanted a rock stage feel where the product remained in the dark while the crowd and lights were going wild. All of the visual content except the actual product turning were created in After Effects and don’t really exist. The product was shot on green screen in the studio and composited into the final spot and logo reveal at the end. The 2nd spot was meant to mimic a high end car ad, showing off lines and angles of the new product without revealing too much. Again all shot on green screen with the product spinning on a turntable. Company Enlists Live Event Partners to Transform Their Warehouse Into an Open House Space

Taking an empty warehouse and making into a great meeting space isn’t easy. Consider there are no existing hotel type power, lights or existing infrastructure to facilitate the technical aspects of a meeting. We had to bring in everything to design and create an intimate space where this company entertained their investors. Beyond the blue drape circling the perimeter, we also designed a welcome tunnel with projected dramatic visuals on each side leading them into the space. This one was definitely a fun challenge.

Unconventional Entertainment Amazes Crowd at Technology Conference

Selecting the right entertainment for your crowd can be stressful. Meeting planners want to hit a home run with a group or act that is contemporary and easily identifiable. One company enlisted a Cirque troupe to perform at their annual conference. The entire event was themed out to represent a European Cabaret style Circus with custom posters, graphics, videos, table linens and centerpieces. We brought in burgundy drape and gold fabric panels to finish the look which transformed the ballroom into a big circus tent with multiple stages.

Live Event Partners Also Produces Videos

As part of one companies recent virtual meeting via the web, Live Event Partners filmed and produced several video modules to be included into the live content. We designed a mock talk-show set for them to interview each project manager in an entertaining non talking head way. We also did a few spoof videos to be included as fake commercials during the webcast.

Client Dazzles with 11 Screens

One client recently wanted a very interactive visual feel for their yearly global leadership meeting. They had new company branding and wanted to subtly display it throughout the 3-day conference. We designed the main stage to have a 10 x 30 video wall behind the presenters which ran speaker intro graphics, sales award winners, and branding imagery. The stage was flanked by 2 large projection screens on each side for video and PPT content as well as speaker Imag. Then on each side of the ballroom we had three 6 x 8 screens that displayed branding imagery and other images tied to their corporate values to reinforce their strategy. The client really liked all the visual imagery that surrounded the ballroom giving their attendees a completely different look than the year before.
